About Me
A Consultant Winemaker with over 25 years' experience in the grape and wine sector and one of Australia's most celebrated winemakers.
I focus on my key strengths: adding value and improving winemaking and production systems from vineyard to winemaking both from a quality and efficiency perspective.
I offer audits and recommendations of process by variety, red or white, winery or full portfolio reviews with viticulture and winemaking recommendations to match client aspirations in wine quality and qualities. I am also available on a casual basis for vintage classifications, wine assessment or guidance and assistance at the blending bench.
Over the past 17 years I have led teams collect over 85 trophies and 330 gold medals for Bleasdale and clients across red, white, sparkling and fortified categories, and have worked with other winemakers assisting in developing their wines and production programs from vineyard to bottle.
I remain focused on wine production goals and the wine sector provides a traditional and agricultural yet fashionable medium with which to work. I’m driven to ensure the wines I work with improve and adapt to an ever-changing marketplace, respecting and adhering to traditional wine values and innovating with new projects as requirements change.
